Digital Transformation

In the research field “Digital Transformation”, we explore methods of how organizations can shape digital transformation. Our interest is focused on three levels of analysis and implementation: On an overarching macro-level, we use scientific approaches to promote a digital corporate and organizational culture. On the organizational meso-level, we research approaches to optimize the degree of digitization, e.g., regarding processes, IT infrastructures, and data models. On the implementation-oriented micro-level, we develop and evaluate concrete use cases for automated data processing using AI applications.
