Supporting companies in the implementation of industry-related services

Technology- and knowledge-intensive services are becoming increasingly important for Baden-Württemberg as a business location. They are considered a key competitive factor, drive innovation, and enable new business models as well as higher productivity and additional value creation in service exports. At the same time, small and medium-sized industrial service providers face the challenge of digitizing their services, developing new service approaches, and efficiently integrating these into their day-to-day operations. 

The Center for Industry-Related Services aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises in developing and implementing innovative, digitally enabled services. In collaboration with academic partners, the center initiates development projects that produce practical solutions and generate transferable value for the entire service sector in Baden-Württemberg. Funding from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor, and Tourism provides the strategic framework for these efforts. 

This co-creative development approach yields solutions that help companies improve their service quality, optimize processes, and develop new business models. At the same time, they benefit from an established network and the transfer of knowledge from research and previous digitalization initiatives that have already supported some 20,000 companies in Baden-Württemberg. In this way, the center creates sustainable added value for the state’s entire service sector.
